Dinner at Furillen
During the summer we serve a 3-course dinner(now a 4-course) at our communal tables in the dining room overlooking the Baltic Sea. The dinner is made with the best produce from Gotland at the moment, a lot from the farm Nyplings where we grow the vegetables ourselves.
We have two seating times 18.00 and 20.00
Of course if weather allows we will serve dinner outside.
With the Covid-19 pandemic in mind, we will not be able to deliver the experience of our tasting menu this season. It is based around a sharing menu and with the current recommendations we all have to do our best to make sure not to spread this virus further. So instead we have decided to make our 3-course "dinner at Furillen" a 4-course(with the same price as before) and cancel the tasting menu for this season. Maybe it will be back for a day or two this summer, we just don't know at this stage. We have also lowered the number of guests per evening so that we all will be able to keep a respectfull distance to each other.

We serve a set 4-course dinner with pre-dinner snacks based on todays harvest from Nyplings farm.
Menu price with meat: 650,-
Menu price without meat: 600,-
Wine pairing: 650,-

The family farm Nyplings is located in Lokrume, you pass it driving from Visby to Furillen. Nyplings is the core to our food philosophy, we try to get as much as possible from our own fields and forest. We grow a lot of different vegetables as well as keep apple trees (that we then make cider from) and beery bushes, the bread you eat is made with flour from the wheat we have at the farm, the honey you are served comes from bees living next to our rapeseed field and we try to pickle and cure as much as possible from what nature gives us during the rest of the year so that you can enjoy it all during the summer at Furillen.
If you want to see the farm you are more than welcome to come by the farm shop where you can see the vegetable plot and get some prime greens for your self to take home.
Furillen is open for larger groups during the whole year. We can do everything from photo teams to weddings, or maybe have your conference meeting in our old factory.

The wine and gin bar is open Monday to Sunday from 6 pm.
During our summer season 2nd of July until the 8th of August.
The wine bar is a selection of natural wines from some of Mikael & Karls favourite producers from all around the world.
We welcome both big and small gourmets, but we will ask you to respect the tranquillity many of our other guests seek when they come to dine and stay at Furillen. We can do a main course with simpler flavours for our youngest guests to enjoy at the table, this can also be served in your room if you are a guest at the hotel.
Mikael Nypelius is a sommelier born on Gotland that now import wine and make Swedish real cider together with cider partner Karl Sjöström they are FRUKTSTEREO. They started making cider in 2016 and won the award for best cider in Sweden 2017 and Mikael was also honoured with the award for "Sommelier of the year 2015" for his efforts at one stared restaurant Bhoga in Gothenburg. Karl is a long time sommelier with experince from topp restaurants in Sweden and Norway that have been involved with making wine at Hällåkra in Skåne for the past few years before the cider bug got him.
